Treatment and long-term recovery support

Substance Use and Recovery

Evidence-based treatment for alcohol and drug use, plus the peer community that makes recovery last.

Five friends standing close together with arms around each other, facing a sunset.

Recovery is not a straight line, and nobody walks it alone here. Our treatment team pairs licensed clinicians with certified peer specialists, people in long-term recovery themselves, so you get both clinical care and living proof that it works.

We meet you where you are. That is not a slogan. It means walk-in mornings, evening groups, medication-assisted treatment without stigma, and a team that treats a return to use as information, not failure.

What to expect

  1. A same-week assessment

A clinician meets with you, asks honest questions without judgment, and recommends a level of care. You decide what you are ready for.

  2. Treatment built around your life

Individual counseling, group sessions, and medication-assisted treatment where appropriate. Day and evening options so work and childcare do not have to break.

  3. Peers who have been there

Certified peer recovery specialists are part of the team. They have lived it. They will meet you for coffee, sit with you in court, and pick up the phone at hard moments.

  4. Recovery that keeps going

Alumni groups, family education, and recovery events all year. Treatment ends. Community does not.

How to start

Walk into the Cedar Landing Recovery Center any weekday between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. No appointment, no referral. Or call (757) 555-0117 to schedule a time that fits.

If you are supporting someone else, call the same number and ask about the family program. You do not have to wait for them to be ready.
