About Osprey Point

Neighbors, caring for neighbors

We are the Chesapeake Shore region's community services organization. Public in spirit, local in every way, and built on one belief: good care should live close to home.

Golden sunrise over coastal marsh and still water.

Our mission

Whole lives, not case files

Osprey Point exists so that every person in our region facing a mental health challenge, a developmental disability, or addiction can get respectful, effective help without leaving the community they call home.

We serve everyone. Insurance helps but is never required, fees slide to income, and nobody is turned away from crisis care. About 4,800 neighbors received services through our seven locations last year, from toddlers in early intervention to elders in community support.

How we work

Four promises we can keep

Respect first

You are the expert on your own life. Care plans here are written with you, in your words, never about you.

No wrong door

Whichever service you call, you have reached the right place. We handle the handoffs so you never start over.

Close to home

Seven locations, telehealth, and teams that travel. Help should never be an hour away from the people who need it.

Answer the phone

Real people answer our lines. When you call your coordinator, you get your coordinator. Small promise, kept daily.

Our community report

Each spring we publish a plain-language report on the year: who we served, what it cost, what worked, and what we are fixing. Highlights appear in our newsroom.
